Arrival and Departure
The Granary will be ready for you at any time AFTER 3pm. Please ring if you anticipate arriving late so that arrangements can be made to welcome you and hand over the keys. Please arrange to leave the property by 10am in order that it can be cleaned thoroughly between lets.
The Granary is let on a Thursday to Thursday basis.
Balance of Payment
The balance of payment will be due four weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
Initial payment
Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a £100 non refundable deposit per week. Cheques to be made payable to 'The Granary'
Cancellation Policy
Guests are reminded of their liability to a cancellation fee - this is the full rental cost if the booking is cancelled within four weeks of the arrival date. Every effort is made to re-let accommodation, but we very strongly recommend that Holiday Cancellation Insurance Cover be obtained.
If a booking is cancelled earlier than four weeks before arrival, then your deposit will be retained unless your accommodation is re-booked. In special circumstances, a deposit may be carried forward to an alternative date later in the year. However, this is entirely at the discretion of the owners and any deposit not used before 31st December will be forfeit.
Cleaning
The Granary is thoroughly cleaned between lettings. However, as there is only a limited period in which to clean the flat, we ask that you leave it and its contents clean and tidy.
Complaints
If the hirers are not entirely satisfied with the accommodation in any way, they should immediately contact the owners so that the problem can be resolved.
Heating and Electricity
The oil fired central heating, hot water and the electricity are all included in the terms.

Hirer's Responsibility
The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. All damages and breakages are the responsibility of the hirer, although minor damages or breakages will not be charged. Please inform us of any breakages so that they can be replaced or rectified before the next letting.
Linen
The Granary supplies pillows, (two per person) duvets and bed linen. A bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel and face cloth per person. Dish towels and two hand towels are also provided and included in the price.
No Smoking
The Granary is a NON smoking property.
Party Size
A maximum of FOUR adults ONLY may occupy the property. However, in addition, there is a cot or small bed available for a baby for which there is no charge.
Pets
Pets are welcome in The Granary but incur a £20 per week cleaning supplement.
Responsibilities
'The Granary', it's agents or employees, accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the Hirer's party or their property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused.
Visitors with Mobility Difficulties
The accommodation is entirely on first floor level, without any internal steps other than the access staircase. This has a 'stair chair' fitted alongside that may be used by prior arrangement with the owners. Within the flat there are additional handrails to aid mobility: the bathroom door opens outwards to aid access to the toilet area and there is a power shower over the bath with a vertical handrail. HOWEVER the cottage is NOT suitable for a completely disabled person.
